Africa Youth for Peace and Development otherwise (AYPAD) is a registered nongovernmental, non political, non religious bias organization with the government of Sierra Leone and operating in 30 countries with a multi-faced mission and vision of ensuring peace and development among youth around the world. The main thrust of the organization is to promote peace and development among young people around the world, by engaging in development projects, conferences, workshop, training, thereby creating a culture of peace, nonviolence and positively transform the lives of young people in difficult circumstances. With Head quarter in Sierra Leone AYPAD organization is presently operating in 30 countries around the world.

AYPAD’s vision of continental unity for youth development and peace is rooted in the organization’s belief that violence achieves no meaningful goal.

5) Establish water and electricity for buildings.

The Anisa Foundation's mission is to promote education throughout northwestern Mexico: promote gender equality; establish S.A.T. (Sistema de Aprendizaje Tutorial) groups in rural, northwestern Mexico and to promote discussion within Mexican society about a different concept of leadership -- one based on principles such as service, education and other human values. Several S.A.T. tutors trained in the Cucap? indigenous areas south of the city of Mexicali, a year-long project completed which promoted gender equality in junior high and high schools in Mexicali and several conferences in Mexicali universities on the theme of Moral Leadership as well as the Equality of Women and Men.

The Association for Youth Literacy and Trades Education is a registered Rwandan not-for-profit organization dedicated to reducing poverty and reinforcing unity and reconciliation in Rwanda. ASOLATE trains youth in employable skills, project management and cooperative organization, and raises awareness about HIV/AIDS.

The purpose of this project is to provide basic human needs to poor and underprivileged children who would not otherwise receive them. Specifically: education, food, shelter, and love.

The project began in December 2004 working to provide the needs to the poor children and families in Varanasi, India. They started by offering free classes in Hindi, English, Art and Music.  The children were provided a fruit breakfast and nutritious lunch on school days, and occasionally helped some of their families in times where they didn’t have enough to eat.

Beginning in September 2005, we established our own school, called Jeevan School.  It began with volunteer teachers from western countries teaching some subjects, and also employing local teachers and a local cook. They believe that for education to be effective and motivating for children who have lived on the streets since birth it must be creative, fun and applicable to their reality.

The school has grown to include levels of education for all the students that attend.  From nursery (3 years old) to level 7 (15 years old). Many of the children were attending regularly but due to the abuse and neglect suffered at home were not able to succeed. 

In 2007 a hostel for these children was formed.  If after a year of attending the school, and the children and their parents agree, they put them up in the “hostel”, where they are provided with full 24-hour care including all food, clothing’ medical costs as well as extracurricular activities ie sewing, art class, woodworking, and dance classes. "

A small, grass-roots organization located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Their aim is to create a series of local, sustainable projects which will assist vulnerable children in accessing their rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
