1	CK 12 CK 12 is an organization striving to make text books nore available. They have included PDF text books from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in a variety of subjects.
2	Khan Academy The Khan Academy is a series of video instruction programs in many subjects in all offering over 2000 classes which students may view at their own pace.
3	TED TED is one of the most well know lecture series on-line for high level information on many subjects. While not comparable to classroom material is certainly informative about many subjects being researched.
4	Open Culture Free on-line Courses Open Culture provides on-line courses from various universities which can be downloaded to your computer.
5	MIT Free Courses 2000 Free Courses with Lectures from MIT covering many subject areas.
6	FreeEd.Net Free Ed provides many course including Business Management courses among many other subjects. Bear in mind that some courses may be country specific.
7	World Scholar World Scholar is an International, non-profit foundation that aims to provide a platform for students of all ages, from grade-school through Univeristy, to showcase their academic abilities on a professional level.
8	arXIV.org (Cornell University Library) An Archive of Open Research papers on a variety of Topics (Cornell University Library)
9	Open Source Ecology Open Source ecology is a site that provide instructions and plans for developing equipment that is required for creating a small civilization.
10	PLoS (Public Library of Science) The Public Library of Science has Research Papers on many aspects of science.
11	Research Gate Research Gate is an on-line community of Researchers from around the world. It has a membership of 1.3 million. There is no cost for joining.
12	Open Stax College Free College Level Text books which can be customized for the teachers use.
13	MITX Free Courses MITx will offer a portfolio of MIT courses for free to a virtual community of learners around the world. It will also enhance the educational experience of its on-campus students, offering them online tools that supplement and enrich their classroom and laboratory experiences.
14	Udacity Free technology course 1) For building a search engine. 2) For building a robotic car.
15	Udemy Udemy provide the ability to create on-line courses and also to take on-line courses. Not all the courses are free but some free courses are available.
16	Mouse Brain Map Mouse Brain map provides very high level research information on Brain research using a Mouse Brain. This is suitable for Brain researchers at Universities in all countries.
17	Coursera Coursea provides access to a number of courses from Top Level Universities in subject ranging from Health Care and Social Sciences to Economics and Computer Science.
