Over the past several years, international donors have requested CSOs (Civil Society Organizations) to become more accountable in relationship to their community development activities. As a result of this request, an Open Forum was established for CSOs from around the world to discuss the issues of development and to create a new agenda. 

The initial outcome of this discussion was the Istanbul CSO Development Effectiveness Principles.  At Partners for prosperity, we endorse these principles as being fully inline with our values and, as such, have begun to incorporate measures for these principles in all of our Partnerships and Projects. In addition there is a more detailed frame work called 

We have provided measures that you can set for your organization as you get to know more about these principles. As you become more familiar with these principles and have more completely implemented them, you may wish to have a qualified Partner to audit your capabilities.  (Note: We have yet to define qualifications of audit Partners.
